March Platform Update

Construction Intelligence goes live with multi-discipline workfronts and IDF parsing. Data Exploration connects to Konnect Core's Gold layer. Planning adds per-activity risk parameters and a public About page.

A packed first half of March across the Konnect xD platform — new deployment infrastructure, deeper Konnect Core integration, and major feature additions across three products.

Multi-Discipline Workfronts — Construction now supports cross-discipline dependency views, letting project teams visualise how piping, structural, and electrical workfronts interrelate
IDF Parser & NDE Rate Management — Import Isometric Drawing Files directly, with built-in NDE inspection rate configuration per weld type
Pipeline & Isometric Models — New Piping Lines page surfaces pipeline metadata alongside linked isometric models for faster look-ups
KXC Gold Layer Sync — Data Exploration now syncs system and module catalogs directly from Konnect Core's Gold layer, ensuring a single source of truth for tag data
Tag Relationship Engine — Separated tag-to-tag relationships from document relationships, adding cluster views for visual network analysis of P&ID connectivity
Per-Activity Risk Parameters — Planning introduces activity-level risk parameters with configurable global fallbacks, improving Monte Carlo simulation accuracy
Public About Page — The Planning app now has a shareable, unauthenticated About page with Konnect xD branding and ecosystem links
SSO & Auth Hardening — Microsoft Entra ID (MSAL) single sign-on added to Construction; upload-session protection and structured error contracts tightened across Data Exploration

All three products are now deployed on Azure VM infrastructure with CI/CD pipelines and automated health checks.

Intelligent P&ID viewing with automated tag extraction, connectivity analysis, and testpack generation — turning static drawings into interactive, queryable digital assets.

The new Smart P&ID app transforms static Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams into fully interactive digital assets. Upload any ISO-standard P&ID and instantly get:

Automated Tag Extraction — AI-driven symbol recognition identifies instruments, valves, and equipment with 98%+ accuracy
Connectivity Graph — Visual network analysis reveals dependencies between process systems
Testpack Builder — Auto-generate commissioning testpacks from your P&ID topology

Smart P&ID connects directly to Konnect Core's knowledge graph, enabling cross-referencing with 3D models, construction schedules, and procurement records.

Medallion Architecture v2

Major upgrade to Konnect Core's data pipeline — Apache Iceberg tables, Nessie catalog branching, and automatic data quality scoring across Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers.

Konnect Core's data pipeline has been rebuilt on Apache Iceberg with Nessie catalog for branch-level versioning. Key improvements:

Iceberg Tables — Time-travel queries let you inspect any historical state of your data lake
Nessie Branching — Create isolated data branches for testing transformations without affecting production
Automatic Quality Scoring — Every dataset now gets a quality score as it moves from Bronze → Silver → Gold
File Intake Router — New central classifier automatically routes uploaded files to the correct processing DAG

This update lays the foundation for Computable MOC — our Git-like digital thread for EPC project data.

P6 API Direct Integration

Native Primavera P6 API connectivity — sync schedules, activities, and resource assignments in real-time without manual XER exports.

Konnect xD Planning now supports direct API integration with Oracle Primavera P6, eliminating the need for manual XER file exports. Configure your P6 connection once, and schedules sync automatically.

Real-Time Sync — Activities, relationships, and resource assignments update continuously
Bi-Directional — Push approved schedule changes back to P6 (read-only by default, write access opt-in)
Version Auto-Create — Each sync creates a new version snapshot, maintaining full audit trail

Machine learning models trained on 500+ historical EPC schedules now provide predictive finish dates, risk scoring, and optimisation recommendations.

The new AI Schedule Prediction engine brings machine learning to project planning. Trained on over 500 historical EPC schedules, it provides:

Predictive Finish Dates — ML-based forecasting that accounts for weather, resource availability, and historical patterns
Risk Scoring — Every activity gets a risk score (0-100) based on its characteristics and context
Optimisation Recommendations — Actionable suggestions for schedule compression, resource levelling, and critical path management
